It’s been two years since I last updated my corporate event photography portfolio. This week I finally got a chance to re-edit it with a lot of new photographs acquired from various events over the past two years including meetings held in Denver by Women In Agriculture, Cobblestone Hotels, Faction, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and Hanleywood.
The first two of those new ones took place in the same location — Denver Hilton at City Center — which is a very difficult environment to work with. The meetings spaces are subterranean, so there are no windows and no daylight (daylight adds a sense of life to a photograph). What light is present is poor. At least with the Cobblestone meeting they ventured out to other locales for fun activities, which presented much better opportunities for photography. And the Bloomberg meeting has now happened twice, both in outstanding locations.
Below are a few of my favorite new additions to my event photography portfolio.
